Battle of Wills
terrorists dance,
jackals around a flame,
the psyche crumbles across the civilized world,
resources spent,
safety the key,
the leaders profess,
fear manipulated,
childlike leaders looking for monsters under their beds,
the war already lost,
terrorism forever and always,
first and foremost,
a battle of wills,
not safety or cost.
